Norfolk Broads Holiday

The Broads is Britain’s magical waterland, a uniquely beautiful environment shaped by people working hand in hand with nature over thousands of years. This wonderful protected wetland – England’s largest – has over 125 miles of safe, enchanting waterways, carefully managed over centuries for people and for nature.

Waveney River Centre is the Broads' multi-award winning 5-star Holiday Park & Marina, set in the beautiful surroundings of South Norfolk's Waveney Valley, with stunning south and west facing views across marshes and river. The Park is a wildlife haven, where you can spend hours watching birds, insects and other wildlife from the peace & quiet of your holiday lodge, or venture further along the river by day cruiser or canoe.

For campers & caravanners, our touring and camping site occupies an idyllic south-facing location overlooking the marina and river, and is open all year thanks to our eco-friendly, heated shower rooms.

Our marina offers permanent berths and visitor moorings, with electric hookups, water and a full range of lifting, servicing and repair facilities.

The Park features a family-friendly pub, indoor heated swimming pool & café, children's play areas, Mace convenience store, launderette and information centre. Using our pedestrian ferry you can reach the Carlton Marshes nature reserve where you can walk for miles alongside the river or into the town of Oulton Broad.

Waveney River Centre was a triple winner at the 2010 EDP Norfolk Tourism Awards - for Customer Care, Best Holiday Park and Best Broads Holiday Experience. In 2009 & 2010 we received David Bellamy's Gold Conservation accolade, norfolk broads holiday and we were winners in the 2010 Practical Boat Owner Green Awards for Best Service & Support.

We are committed to reducing our impact norfolk lodges on the environment through recycling, water & energy conservation and other sustainable measures. Please help us to reduce our reliance on paper and ink by using our web-based booking broads holidays.
